Healthcare today is facing unprecedented and complex challenges. EBM Care and the EBM Care Foundation are in the forefront of the effort to bring together the diverse interests of hospitals, physicians, payers, government and patients to provide the highest quality care at a lower cost.
EBM Care develops quality assessment and quality assurance programs which deliver evidence-based medicine (EBM) treatment guidelines for acute injuries in real time at the critical moment of care at a patient's bedside in hospital intensive care units and emergency rooms.
As compliance with EBM guidelines increases, outcomes improve. Improved outcomes mean that state governments, which purchase EBM Care's programs and provide them to hospitals, will have significant savings in their Medicaid programs.
EBM Care's first product to market is for adult traumatic brain injury. Its second product, for pediatric traumatic brain injury, is in final development now and will be brought to market shortly. EBM Care's third product is currently in the early stages of development and is on target to be launched in 2012.
